We are pleased to announce our next exhibition by Ine Izumi, from 27th June at TKG Contemporary: Tomio Koyama Gallery 6th Floor, Tokyo.
Izumi has been working under the name "Kon Izumi" from 2002 to 2007. Her recent works include a series of "Booksisters" at which project the artist explorers the field of fictitious "sisters" story which starts to intaract with their real lives. At this exhibition Izumi will present the visual works of the sisters and paintings inspired by the belongings of the "sisters", as well as the installation work reconstructing the gathering of the Booksisters.
This exhibition is in conjunction with "Booksisters (incomplete) Winter Sunlight in Shadow" at MA2 Gallery in Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, which starts on July 7th.
