Naoyuki Tsuji was born in 1972 in Shizuoka, Japan. He aimed to become an animator or cartoonist in his childhood. He graduated from Tokyo Zokei University in 1995, and currently lives and works in Yokohama, Japan. He studied sculpture in university, but recently creates animations that combine fine art and film.
His solo exhibitions have been held at Iwasaki Museum, Yokohama, Japan (2002), Corvi-Mora Gallery, London, UK (2008), etc. He has held many film screenings at film festivals including Bangkok, Seoul, London, and Paris, and many locations in Japan.
