Varda Caivano

Varda Caivano was born in 1971 in Benos Aires, Argentina. She studied Art History at University of Buenos Aires, earned Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, London in 2001, and received MA in Painting at Royal College of Art, London in 2004. She currently lives and works in London. Caivano started getting noticed in the art scene in London while she was at school.
Her solo exhibitions include at Victoria Miro Gallery (London, 2005) and Galerie Sies + Hoke (Dusseldorf, 2007). Her museum solo exhibition was held at Kunstverein Freiburg (Germany, 2006). She has also exhibited at Chisenhale Gallery (London, 2005), and at Prague Biennale (2005) and Busan Biennale (2008). She exhibited in "East End Academy: The Painting Edition" at Whitechapel Gallery (London).
