小山登美夫ギャラリー 清澄・京都 | TKG エディションズ　銀座・京都

ジェイソン・テラオカは1964年ハワイ、カウアイ島生まれ。
90年代後半よりハワイを中心に活動を開始し、ホノルル・アカデミー・オブ・アーツで毎年行われるグループ展『Annual Artists of Hawaii』には、97年、99年、01年と出展しました。現在もホノルルにて制作活動を行っています。
05年、全米を巡回した奈良美智の個展『Nothing Ever Happens』がホノルル現代美術館へ巡回した際、『Shaka Nara』と題した展示室で共に作品を発表しました。日本では、06年に原美術館で個展『Neighbors』が開催され、ユニークな作風が広く紹介されることになりました。
作品はハワイ州文化芸術財団、ホノルルアカデミーオブアーツ、原美術館にパブリックコレクションとして収蔵されています。
